Welcome

Traumatic loss and deep grief is complicated and it can easily catch us off guard – especially since it is a topic that is rarely discussed openly. The greater our loss, the more intense our emotions and the harder it is to reconnect with everyday life.

About Me

Susann Moolman

To lose a loved one does not mean that this wound will never heal or that you will never experience happiness ever again.

Although we cannot prevent death and loss, or have any power over the intensity of grief, there is always a choice how we are dealing with grief and healing over the long term – no matter our relationship to the deceased.

Susann Moolman was forced to walk this path after the suicide of her young adult son.

Refusing to accept the outdated advice and beliefs regarding the death of a child, she was able to rise as a whole and healed person with joy for life and finding greater purpose.

Because good support isn’t kicked from behind every bush, she qualified as a Bereavement Therapist in order to help others who also find themselves on this this path.

She did not want to be the mother who was trapped in forever-grief and chose to start living fearlessly ahead.

“I did not die with my child, even though it initially felt that way.” No human being ever has to walk this path alone.

Susann is not only the author of books on grief, but also lives out her passion as a writer of humorous sketches.
